Terms And Conditions Of The 5-Year Renault Warranty

When you invest in a New Renault Vehicle, the standard 5 Year Renault Warranty your vehicle comes with guaranteed protection as laid out by the terms and conditions in the Renault Warranty Policy. This policy covers any and all defects relating to material, fitting or manufacturing faults stipulated under the aforementioned Warranty Policy for a period of no more than 60 months (5 years) from the date of delivery or 150 000km, whichever comes first.

What Does The Renault 5 Year Warranty Cover?

The 5 Year New vehicle Renault Warranty covers the cost of repair or replacement of any defective parts, material, or even assembly and manufacturing defects that have been recognised by the manufacturer. However, it must be noted that these repairs, and the identification of the necessary repairs, need to be undertaken by a recognised member of the Renault network such as Group1 Renault.

The Renault Warranty also covers any consequential damage resulting from the original defect. It’s important to understand that repair identification and undertakings are up to the discretion of Renault South Africa, in consultation with Group1 Renault or any other recognised Renault Dealership in South Africa as laid out in the 5 Year Renault Warranty Policy.

The Renault Parts Warranty

Renault warrants that all parts and accessories supplied by Renault and fitted on or before the time of purchase of the new Renault vehicle by a recognised Renault Network Member will be free of all defects. This applies to both material and workmanship for a period of 12 months under the conditions laid out by the normal use policy. Any additional Renault Parts or Accessories that are purchased from a recognised dealer over the counter include a 1 Year/20,000km warranty (whichever comes first) from the date of invoice.
