It looks like Renault’s unique approach to building entry-level cars is paying off in South Africa, as the 2016 Renault Kwid has made it to the November’s top sellers list in the very month that the car was officially launched in the South African press.
519 Units Sold in a Month
519 units sold in a month is an incredible number for any vehicle model, but what makes this achievement even more incredible is that not only is this a NEW Renault Vehicle, but Renault South Africa only had stock available on showroom floors from the middle of the month. Nissan South Africa even released an official statement saying:
“The interest in Kwid has been exceptional since our Press launch in November, and a figure of 519 units (485 Dealer Channel) sold in November is in-line with our monthly ambition for the vehicle.”
