Fall in Love with Renault
And by this we literally mean fall in love with each other (although we are sure that you’ll love the car as well). Speaking exclusively to Auto Express in the UK, Renault’s design boss Laurens Van Den Acker has stated that the new Renault Scenic will “play the role of Cupid for stressed parents” all over the world. He wants this new addition to Renault’s European Automobile Selection to rekindle romance in households across Europe and further added that:
“Many mini vans are driven by parents who look like they don’t love each other – I want them to fall in love again and we hope that the new Scenic will help them do that.”
A bold statement to make, but if the new design features that have been included in all of the latest new 2015 Renault models have been included in the new Renault Scenic (which they have), then this is sure to be one stylish car.
What’s New 2016 Renault Scenic?
Van Den Acker wouldn’t reveal any specific design details about the 2016 Scenic just yet, but from what we understand there will be a bit more of a crossover look and feel to the vehicle. It will also include Renault’s stylish and bold new front grille that features the much loved oversized Renault diamond. To sum up exactly what the new Renault Scenic is going to look like Van Den Acker simply stated that the new Scenic will be “more Monica Bellucci than Kate Moss”, with “sensuous and voluptuous” design curves.
Will the 2016 Renault Scenic be Available in South Africa?
Currently there are no plans to import any 2016 Renault Scenic vehicles into the country, but that can change once international pricing and the demand for the vehicle at an international level has been established.
